SEOUL, South Korea, Dec. 14, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Shopl & Company, a champion in on-site digitalization for business operations, has announced its full-fledged entry into Japan, building on its presence in Korea, Europe, and Latin America.
Currently, Japan is experiencing significant growth in Digital Transformation (DX) initiatives led by the government. In response to this trend, Shopl & Company, specializing in supporting the digital transformation of on-site workers, is set to make a full-fledged entry into Japan in the first half of 2024. Shopl & Company operates Shopl, a collaboration tool that helps on-site workers manage schedules and communicate, and HADA, a QR code-based facility management digitalization solution.
Shopl stands out for its capability to efficiently handle the schedules of on-site workers and facilitate seamless communication within a single tool. Widely embraced in the fashion industry for store management, it has found active usage among renowned brands like Chanel, Kose, Tumi, and New Balance. Additionally, Shopl is employed across various industries, including notable names like Samsung Electronics and Balmuda.
Shopl & Company has expanded its presence globally, entering 15 countries across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, including Germany, Mexico, and Vietnam. The number of facilities currently managed with Shopl exceeds 40,000.
HADA digitizes the regular inspection process by attaching QR stickers to facilities or locations that require regular inspections such as safety, hygiene, and mechanical equipment. It is currently used by more than 1,000 customers, including Lotte Department Store, Hyundai Department Store, Incheon International Airport, and the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
Shopl & Company also has a number of collaborations with public administrative organizations such as the Korea Airports Corporation, the Korea Expressway Corporation, and the Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology, and is actively involved in government-led digital transformation projects in Korea.
In preparation for active support of Japan's digital transformation, Shopl & Company has fully integrated Japanese language support into its services. Moreover, when implementing the solution, Korean and Japanese experts will collaborate to provide on-site training and 1:1 support, ensuring the seamless integration of digitized workflows within the enterprise.
"Currently, Japan is the most active country in digital transformation. However, on-site workers still face many challenges in digital transformation due to the nature of their work, which is different from that of office workers," said Lee Joon-Seung, the CEO of Shopl & Company. "Shopl and HADA have been supporting on-site digital transformation domestically and globally, and we look forward to building on our know-how to support Japan's on-site digital transformation."
